Elizabeth Morales

Co-Owner, Rudy’s Feed Store

Born and raised in San Antonio, Elizabeth is a local business owner and business investor in San Antonio. Married 41 years, she spent the first ten years of their married lives as an Air Force Military wife to husband, Gilbert.  They have two grown children, Lorenzo, Executive Chef for USAA and Victoria, a computer analyst for Accenture.  Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three beautiful grandchildren.

Elizabeth has 25 years of experience in the Financial Banking and Mortgage Lending sector. In 2007 Elizabeth retired from the corporate world and left her Asst. Vice President position with World Savings (later Wells Fargo) to assist her husband in their Agricultural Feed and Retail Pet business.  Rudy’s Feed Store, a family owned and operated business since 1967, is officially recognized as a Legacy Business by the City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation.

Elizabeth’s interest in music began at a very early age learning piano from her mother who was a piano teacher to many of the neighborhood children. Throughout her middle school and high school education, Elizabeth played flute in band and is proud to be an Alumni of YOSA (1981-1982).  Striving to continue sharing her musical talent into her later years, Elizabeth participated as a member of both the San Antonio Symphonic Band and the Helotes Area Community Band.

Elizabeth has the highest respect for musicians, especially the very talented musicians of San Antonio, and is happy to be involved as a Business Investor of JazzTX, a local jazz clubshowcasing a variety of musical ensembles for their patrons since 2016.

Elizabeth is an active member of the community and has held two prior board positions:
2019 – 2024 Positive Solutions Charter School, which helps children at risk of dropping out of school by providing continued education and support in obtaining a high school diploma or GED.
2018 – 2020 The Hot Wells Conservancy, which raised funds to help preserve, develop and promote the Hot Wells ruins in San Antonio.

Helping to promote musical enrichment and development in the community is a true passion of
Elizabeth’s and she is thrilled to continue her endeavor by supporting the many fine arts programs MBAW has developed for the community of San Antonio.
