Round I – The Gurwitz 2024 International Piano Competition

Lulla Benneck Music Center, University of the Incarnate Word 4301 Broadway, San Antonio, TX

Twelve (12) contestants will each perform a 50-minute recital, contestant may choose freely their repertoire. At the end of the round, 6 semifinalists are chosen to continue to Round II and a winner is selected for the Junior Jury Award.

Round II – The Gurwitz 2024 International Piano Competition

Lulla Benneck Music Center, University of the Incarnate Word 4301 Broadway, San Antonio, TX

Six semifinalists will each perform a 50-minute recital, performing at least one work by a composer from their own country of origin and one work from a composer of Latin-American or Spanish origin. Three finalists and “Best Performance of a Work by Spanish or Latin Composer” Award are selected.
