At Musical Bridges Around the World, we understand the isolating effects and logistical challenges that seniors in living communities face. Music also is shown to have profound benefits for seniors, improving cognitive function, lowering risk for dementia and increasing social connection.
MBAW’s programming brings classical, jazz, and culturally-specific concerts, at no cost, to senior living communities and local community centers. These musical performances instill within them a sense of youth, health and vivacity, and breathes new life into our respected elders.
