Gurwitz in the Community
The Gurwitz International Piano Competition is continuously involved in bringing the art of piano to San Antonio, TX community! During competition years, the Jury, Guest Artists and local Gurwitz Youth Ambassadors are also involved with piano masterclasses and special events in the community. Between each competition, past and present Medalists and local Gurwitz Youth Ambassadors perform for the public and senior living communities through nonprofit Musical Bridges Around the World’s programming arms.
