Last Thursday Musical Bridges Art Gallery was the site of its very first private luncheon hosted by San Antonio womens group — Las Amigas.  Approximately 30 guests gathered in the MBAW gallery adorned with pointsettas and christmas trees; enjoying photography, art, and the company of their friends. Please join us in welcoming our newest Board member, Adriana Flores! Adriana Flores was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station with a Bachelors Degree in English, with minors in History and Marketing. She obtained her Master of Science in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She worked for the San Antonio Public Library for 10 years and left as a Branch Manager of the Johnston Library to raise her two young children. Musical Bridges Around the World is proud to report another successful segment of our community outreach Kids to Concerts program at no charge to the schools visited! On January 22-23 & 26-27, the Flying Balalaika Brothers from Austin visited 8 San Antonio elementary schools:  Fernandez, Madison, Oak Meadow, Colonies North, Scobee, Howsman, Leon Springs & Glenoaks.
