Last Wednesday Aug. 7, MBAW participated in a fabulous tour of the Tobin Center of the Performing Arts and Cocktail Reception, welcoming new Tobin President & CEO Mike Fresher to our great city!
Organized by MBAW Vice President Suhail Arastu, the afternoon included a 30 minute tour of the expansive construction of the grand arts facility set to open in September 2014, followed by tasty summer cocktails mixed by Jeret Peña of The Brooklynite at the historic Carter House graciously opened by Paul Carter, and jazz by local legends George and Aaron Prado with nibbles and drinks at the Radius Cafe.
This delightful reception was co-sponsored by The Brooklynite, Paul Carter, and Radius Café, and MBAW sponsored the music.
What an unforgettable afternoon, and exciting glimpse into the future of performing arts in San Antonio!
