Linda Wasserman rejoins Musical Bridges after a fifteen-year odyssey away from San Antonio. Linda was MBAW’s first Executive Director in the early 2000’s and now works in volunteer recruitment and support.

In her years away from San Antonio, she worked a five-year clinic mission in Monterrey, Mexico, followed by another ten years working State and County emergency preparedness projects in South Texas. Upon retiring, Linda returned to join our 26th season, including The Gurwitz International Piano Competition.

Linda has a B.A. in Mass Communications and worked for many years as a news broadcaster in San Antonio. A 20-year career with the City of San Antonio also gave her experience in public relations at San Antonio International Airport and as Special Projects Manager helping to launch San Antonio’s 311 Call Center in 2000. Along the way, Linda earned an M.A. in International Relations which lead her to make the move to Mexico. In her last position with Texas A&M, she was assigned to a special logistical response unit dealing with wildfires, hurricanes and C19 medical support statewide.
