Public Programs & Events

Due to the recent COVID-19 spike after the holidays, Musical Bridges Around the World and its event partners have made the decision to postpone the following two (2) public events to a later date (to be determined):

If you have already registered for free tickets to either of these events, you will still be registered for the new date(s) and will not need to re-register. New registration will not open back up until new dates have been announced. If you wish to cancel your ticket registration, know that you will have to re-register for the new event date when it is announced. If you have made a donation through Eventbrite through one of these events, MBAW will be in contact with you directly.

Community Programs

Musical Bridges has also had to cancel and/or pivot its community concert programming this week, as the situation has developed. Live in-person school concerts, with musicians from the upcoming film The Quilt: A Living History of African American Music, have canceled this week but will shift virtually so students can still experience the Kids to Concerts program. Golden Age‘s January senior living community concerts, which included a Beethoven trio and The Gurwitz Youth Ambassadors, were also canceled due to concerns and safety changes from both MBAW and its partners at senior living centers.

MBAW is currently monitoring the situation as it progresses to determine and will postpone or cancel any more upcoming event(s), so please check back on the website, incoming emails, or social media for further updates.
