Eric Miller, MD – President
Dr. Miller is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and founded the Central Texas Pain Center in 2004 in New Braunfels, TX. His practice now has over 7000 patients. He earned his B.A. in Biology from Washington and Jefferson College in 1995 and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1999. He completed a one-year internship at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and then completed both his anesthesiology residency and pain fellowship at Duke University. He is the owner of Hunter’s Creek Pharmacy and Positive Returns (a medical billing company). He is also a general partner for New Braunfels Sports and Spine Physical Therapy Center. In his spare time he enjoys travel with his family, tennis, and golf.
Dr. Richardson Gill was born and raised in San Antonio. Dr. Gill’s business career includes: President of Gill Savings/Gill Companies, President and CEO of Gill Dorn Savings, CEO and President of Ste. Genevieve Winery, co-founder and the first Chairman of Llano Estacado Winery, Business Development Department Head for J. B. Poindexter & Co, and General Manager of Cibolo Creek Ranch between 2010 and 2012. Dr. Gill is the author of the groundbreaking book, The Great Maya Droughts: Water, Life, and Death (University of New Mexico, 2000). He has been co-chairman of the San Fernando Cathedral Foundation and co-chairman of the Archbishop Patrick Flores 10th Anniversary Celebration.
Sujata Venkateswar is a certified C.P.A. and an active member of the San Antonio Indian Community. She regularly coordinates a monthly program at the Hindu Temple of San Antonio called Raaga Archana that promotes local as well as out of area Indian musicians. She is a specialist in Indian Classical music and is a well-known vocalist and teacher. Sujata has an extensive experience in producing and managing large Indian music shows. Among others she produced “Bollywood Extravaganza” for Luminaria 2012 – a vibrant and colorful presentation of Bollywood songs from the 1950s – 2000s involving over 30 performers. She also runs a local Indian music school called “Geetanjali Fine Arts.”
Yurii D. Borshch, MD
Dr. Borshch obtained his Fellowship in Pain Management and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He later practiced as an assistant professor and Chronic Pain Clinic Director at The Department of Anesthesiology at Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada for seven years, and in private practice for three years in upstate New York. Before moving to North America, Dr. Borshch practiced as a general surgeon in the former USSR. Currently Dr. Borsch is practicing medicine in San Antonio and is a founder and owner of Precision Spine and Pain Management. In his spare time he enjoys scuba diving and great music.
Judy Piatek Crabb was born in Pleasanton and raised in Jourdanton Texas. She spent 15 years as a vocal performer in the entertainment field. She married Jefferson A Crabb, Jr. and is an Office Manager in his busy real estate law practice in McAllen and San Antonio. Judy and Jefferson have two daughters attending college: Jordan at Trinity University and Jeryn at the Texas State School of Music. Judy enjoys supporting Musical Bridges Around the World and looks forward to its continued success.
Adriana Flores was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station with a Bachelors Degree in English. She obtained her Master of Science in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She worked for the San Antonio Public Library for 10 years and left as a Branch Manager of the Johnston Library. Her love of literature, music and education returned her to work with her family business, Alamo Music Center. She runs Alamo Music Center with her two nephews, continuing its history into its fourth generation. She shares her love of music and the arts with her two sons, as they learn and explore all forms of arts in San Antonio together.
Ms. Franklin is Co-Founder of Franklin Companies, an industry leader in the development, construction and management of multi-family and luxury senior living communities. She is responsible for Franklin Park Communities’ brand, design and first impressions management as well as community outreach and philanthropic efforts. In June 2014, Susan and her husband, Aubra, were awarded the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year designation for Central Texas. In addition to serving on the boards of Musical Bridges Around the World and Arts San Antonio, Ms. Franklin is a Bexar County Performing Arts Center Foundation board member where she serves on the Building Committee and is a Founders’ Network Co-Chair. Through this service, Ms. Franklin has worked diligently with others dedicated to bringing forth both the vision and the necessary support that is making the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts a reality for San Antonio. She contributes her resources and talents to further the mission of many cultural and philanthropic efforts, including opening her home to notable musicians such as Nobuyuki Tsjuii, 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Gold Medalist.
Mr. Gonzalez was the recipient of the 2011 Volunteer Award, and has singlehandedly taken Musical Bridges’ educational outreach vehicle, Kids to Concerts (KtC), to the next level. He is a leading force in developing lesson plans and curriculum for the schools visited. For years, he has coordinated the scheduling of the in-school concerts, and has also provided in-kind donations of sound and musical equipment through his business, BandStar Music. Mr. Gonzalez studied Fine Arts at San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has taught music and fine arts in San Antonio public schools for 13 years. He and his beautiful wife, Dalila, have a toddler son, Ethan.
Veronika Liskova was born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic where she earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Corporate Management and European Economic Integration at the University of Economics. After moving to US in 2003 she co-founded and co-owned Alamo Photographic, a successful photography studio in Alamo Heights. In 2011, she accepted a position at a global bank as a Business Banker where she is currently working. Veronika loves art and music and has become a socialite on San Antonio cultural scene. Her favorite sports include skiing, water sports and running. She has competed in multiple races including marathons in Dubai.
Mr. Martin is Managing Partner & CIO, Martin Capital Advisors, and is an active participant in the Austin and San Antonio communities through leadership positions, including the San Antonio Public Library Foundation, the San Antonio Museum of Art Contemporaries, the Thomas Jefferson Center at the University of Texas, the San Antonio Artist Foundation, and the Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship at UTSA. He is an active member of the CFA Societies of Austin and San Antonio, the alumni association of the San Antonio Masters Leadership Program, the Rotary Club of San Antonio, the San Antonio Business and Economics Society, the Harvard Business School Club of San Antonio, the Association for Corporate Growth and the World Affairs Council of San Antonio. He is a lifetime member of the Naval War College Foundation and the UDT-SEAL Association.
Dr. Ramos has served on the Board of Directors for Musical Bridges Around the World for five years, the last three as President. She was born in Puerto Rico, obtained her medical degree at the Universidad Central del Caribe, Puerto Rico, and completed her Pediatric Residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. After 30 years, she retired from the Army Reserve with the rank of Colonel in 2010. Dr. Ramos has founded a non-profit organization that educated community against children obesity. She currently practices Pediatrics in New Braunfels, Texas. Both, she and her husband, Dr. Luis R. Ramos, and their two children, Luis and Rafael, share a love of music.
Ms. Shroff holds a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University, School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Trinity University with a bachelors of arts in business administration. Ms. Shroff currently serves as a research consultant for several large physician practices. In her private legal practice, she focused on corporate and regulatory healthcare law. With over 15 years experience in the healthcare field, Ms. Shroff has been a speaker at various industry symposiums in clinical research and has authored publications on bioethics and healthcare fraud. In their free time, Ms. Shroff and her husband, Dr. Naveen Kella enjoys travel, music and the arts.
Dr. Zebrowski was born and raised in Kharkov, Ukraine, and started his dental education at the Kharkov State University, School of Dentistry. Upon relocating to United States, Dr. Zebrowski enrolled in University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating with high honors. During his free time, Dr. Zebrowski enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Zebrowski is an active member of the American Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, and Texas Dental Association. Dr. Zebrowski is a founder and co-owner of a Northwood Dental Spa located in San Antonio Texas.
