The 7th annual International Music Festival will shift virtually this year, transforming into one day-long summit exploring the state of the arts and future of performing arts!

From noon to 5PM CST, we will bring a mixture of live-panel discussions from prominent artists/arts leaders as well as high-quality performances from MBAW’s illustrious past program and festival artists.

Interactive Kids Movie Screening – The Quilt: A Living History of African American Music

Learn about music genres from African American history and culture in this award-winning educational documentary! Kids can also make a quilt square with the African American Quilt Circle of San Antonio, and participate in activities with dancer Tanesha Payne, poet-musician Andrea Vocab Sanderson, mezzo soprano Veronica Williams, and lead actress Cynthia Freeman Gibbs.
