Chuck Parrish served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of the Board and Chief Compliance Officer of Tesoro Corporation (now Andeavor), a Fortune -100 refining and marketing company until his retirement in April of 2016. Chuck has been a Jazz DJ with KRTU 91.7 since 1990 and is a serious jazz historian, with a personal vinyl collection of over 3500 LPs and CDs. Along with his good friend Dr. Bradley Kayser and with the help of MBAW, he has co-produced over 20 jazz concerts through the years hosting internationally recognized jazz musicians such as Charles Lloyd, Billy Hart, McCoy Tyner, Randy Weston, Kenny Barron, Joe Lovano, Geri Allen, Gonzalo Rubalcaba and many more. Mr. Parrish received his BA with Distinction and High Honors in History from the University of Virginia, followed by his JD from the University of Houston. He is a native Texan and has resided in San Antonio with his wife Anne since 1989. Their children Cecile and Charles both were born and raised in the community and both live in San Antonio. Since retirement, Chuck has begun section hiking the Appalachian Trail and finds it an adventure in the beauty of nature as well as an exercise in gratitude.
