At the meeting of the Board of Directors on August 18, 2012, Musical Bridges welcomed a new Chair of the Board!
We are pleased to announce that Eric Miller, MD was elected to lead the Board in the next three years as its new Chair.
Dr. Miller is the founder of Central Texas Pain Center, and his practice now has locations in San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos, and Austin and serves more than 7,000 patients each year. He is also the owner of Hunter’s Creek Pharmacy and Positive Returns, and a general partner of the New Braunfels Sports and Spine Physical Therapy Center.
Dr. Miller is passionate about supporting music and has been a dedicated member of Musica Viva and the Board of Musical Bridges for many years. We look forward to the next three years under his leadership! Welcome, Dr. Miller!
The Board of Directors and staff of Musical Bridges would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Awilda I. Ramos for her tremendous leadership as president of the Board during the last three years. Under her leadership, Musical Bridges has grown its membership and presence in the community, and expanded its Kids to Concerts program. Dr. Ramos has also been instrumental to developing a strategic plan and marketing plan for the organization. She will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as head of the Kids to Concerts Committee.
Musical Bridges would also like to extend its deepest gratitude to Ms. Aspasia Erian and Dr. Kevin Hall for their outstanding service to the organization during their terms on the Board of Directors. We are pleased to be able to continue to enjoy their company as members of Musica Viva.
