Everything was real good. I didn’t notice anything that didn’t look perfect. –Really enjoyed it.

I thought the sax guy had really beautiful tone and he fit in great with what Geri had going.

Dr Forland (UTHSC Humanities) thought that this was the best jazz concert he has ever heard since he has been in SA and left New York. He loved the sax player and has heard Illinos Jacquet (sp?) in the past.Production was “perfect”.

The concert today was SO WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! My god, I just don’t know what to say except that it made me so happy to be alive and to be able to be there hearing all those wonderful musicians. And you are so fantastic to have worked so hard all these years to keep bringing great musicians to San Antonio.

Thanks again for everything you do for San Antonio! You are certainly a treasure to this area and someone that I am proud and happy to know.

Your Friend,
John Moor

Dear Anya and MBAW Board members,
What a wonderful concert you presented at San Fernando Cathedral with Maestro Borok and Elena – a packed house in the Cathedral, beautiful music of Beethoven and such excitement all round in the city with the Beethoven Festival.
San Antonio is very lucky to have you here with your visionary ideas!
We could have been listening to a concert in Prague or any European city but to have it on our own doorstep is quite amazing.

Warmly,
Sheila and Kenneth
