This concert showcases outstanding musicians featured in Musical Bridges’ upcoming documentary film “The Quilt: A Living History of African American Music”. Performers include Beverly Houston, Veronica Williams, Andrea Vocab Sanderson, Ron Wilkins, Marc “Mockingbird” Smith, and Aaron Prado’s jazz trio with Johnathan Alexander and Brandon Rivas. The program will highlight historical spirituals all the way to music of the present day.
