Erika Hicks

Development Director

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, while influenced by her upbringing during summers in Spain, Erika Hicks received her Bachelor of Music Education from Baylor University with an emphasis in Instrumental Music. She taught as an educator and Band Director in NISD, San Antonio for three years before her involvement in commercial real estate property management in Austin. Erika was deeply drawn to Musical Bridges Around the World and its mission as she believes in a community that embraces multicultural performing & visual arts while building bridges amongst people with diverse backgrounds. Erika also teaches English as a Second Language to Chinese students with VIP Kid. She enjoys playing clarinet, hiking, yoga, cooking, reading, and traveling. Erika is currently the Development Director at Musical Bridges Around the World.
